#1 THE LIGHT IN THE CELLER
CHAPTER ONE: STRANGE THINGS

ONE day, while Becky was passing the celler door, she discovered it was wide open. she peeked inside " oh my gosh! what is that!" she whispered. a strange green glow was coming from down in the celler. she was carrying a heavy basket of laundry, so she decided to come back when she was done. when she came back 30 minutes later it was gone. then her mom called her for dinner so she sat down at the table were she was joined by her mom, dad,4 sisters, Franny, Amy, Hannah, joy and 1 brother Timmy. they had fish sticks and mac and cheese. after dinner she played a few games with her siblings and they all went to bed. at about 3:00 in the morning she woke up with a start. a strange " whiirrrr whiirrr!" was coming from down the stairs. she grabbed her flash light and magnifying glass ( to look for clues:) and proceeded down the steps. when she got down there the door of the celler was open, the green glow was back and the noise was coming from down there!
" there it is again!" she whispered.

kipoe

in the magic land of kipoe,
you won't find creatures like the hippo!
the creatures that are there you've never seen before!
come, please sit down and let me tell you more.
there are faries and elves,
and a dragon that dwels in a cave high on the mountain!
there is a magical fish that will grant you a wish, he lives in the magical fountain.
the flowers and trees are alive,
in the magical forest they thrive.
the griffin gards his jewels and jems,
and only leaves when the light dims.
the only one whos ever been there is me,
and i tell you it is a wonder sight to see!

snakes!

all kinds of snakes in the grass.

before they shed, dull. then shiny as brass.

some are green yellow or red,

you had better watch out if they are not fed!

pythons sqeeze and cobras bite,

some come out in day and some at night.

some people like them, and others they fear!

some snakes eat rats, sneaky snake drinks root beer!

some have names likeslimy or fin,

it is always fun to find snake's skin!

watch out for the snakes!

be careful they may bite!

or crawl into your shoe in the middle of the night!

snow

it's wintertime! the snow is falling!
i think i hear some friends that are calling!
snow forts are in the making!
mothers and grannys start the baking!
snow bals are flying!
people are buying presents,
to give at chrismas!
those two twins are dressed alike.
i . . . . . . . . i think that snow man just came to life!
look at all thoose wonderful snowflakes!
no two snowflakes are alike!
and every one knows its winter,
because the snow is falling!

the tiff poem

tiffany, tiff, tiffy, or tiff tiff,
you can call her any of theese
but there is one thing do not call her please,
tiffer wiffer or she will get mad!
she thinks it sounds like a vinnila wafer!
lilly and den den are her kids,
lily knows how to pop of lids!
russel is her boy friend,
they were sick but are on the mend!
i like to pull jokes on russel!
but then my mom has a fussel!
is she my sister?
yes! she is for sure!

oats p.s tiff wanted me to make a poem about oats

oats, oats, in a bowl,
like a nut inside a hole.
dry oats are by far the best,
and then come's cooked oats, they come next.
and then the oats you cook in a pot are probly the least.
tiff hates them.
i like them.
some people think they are in between.
